Redness and Rocasea


Human skin consists of 3 different layers, epidermis, corium, subcutaneous fat. Blood vessels exist at corium, subcutaneous fat and are invisible. Telangiectasia is caused by physiological changes or when the stretched blood vessel is now available to return to original state.

Rosacea, the symptom of Telangiectasia, is a chronic condition characterized by facial erythema (redness) and sometimes pimples. It is typically a harmless cosmetic condition. Treatment in the form of topical steroids can aggravate the condition.
There are several reasons Rosacea such as sun exposure, emotional stress, heavy exercise, sudden changes of temperature. Among them, sun is the common trigger, voiding excessive exposure to sun is widely recommended. Some people with rosacea benefit from daily use of a sunscreen.
